Welche Gewinde können wir rollen?
Beim Gewinderollen entsteht das Gewinde durch einen Umformungsprozess. Im Endeffekt handelt es sich um eine Umformung statt einen Spanabtrag. Das sorgt für hohe Festigkeit, glatte Oberflächen und zuverlässige Bauteile. Zwei gehärtete Walzwerkzeuge werden mit hohem Druck in den rotierenden Rohling (Schraube) gedrückt. Es erfolgt eine Kaltverfestigung ohne Unterbrechung des Faserverlaufs, somit ein Gefüge mit höherer Zug- und Dauerfestigkeit.

What types of threads can we roll?
In thread rolling, the thread is formed through a plastic deformation process. Essentially, it involves deformation rather than material removal. This results in high strength, smooth surfaces, and reliable components. Two hardened rolling tools are pressed into the rotating blank (screw) under high pressure. This results in cold work hardening without interrupting the grain flow, thus creating a microstructure with higher tensile and fatigue strength.
