In the future, unmanned vehicles will be deployed across all military domains. They draw their power from high-performance lithium-ion batteries, which must be stored and charged safely to protect them from adverse environmental factors—such as humidity, dirt, and water especially saltwater. Simultaneously, soldiers must also be protected against the potential hazards (thermal runaway) posed by a defective battery, which are explosions, fires, extreme temperatures, and highly toxic fumes. Our active RACLAN DefPro boxes were developed specifically for this purpose by former soldiers with decades of international operational experience. RACLAN boxes autonomously monitor lithium-ion batteries. They feature an internal backup power supply capable for 90 days. The housing is made from explosion-proof and fire-resistant ballistic composite material. A multi-layer filtration system ensures that no toxic substances escape into the surrounding environment. Soldiers and K9s on a mission are equipped with easy over 40 lithium-ion batteries and battery cells. Today, it is no longer possible to successfully execute a mission without battery-powered devices.

The Palma International Boat Show 2026 will showcase over 300 yachts, including more than 100 Superyachts. The event, running from April 29th to May 2nd, 2026, marks the start of the Mediterranean sailing season.

A highlight will be the World Premiere of the RACLAN MARITIME BATTERY SAFETY SYSTEM –RAMBSS modules. These are the first modules certified by RISE Research Institutes of Sweden to UL 1487 and UL 9540A for the safe charging and storage of Watertoys lithium-ion batteries. The test has been witnessed by Lloyd's Register Surveyors, thus preparing for type approval, which will be issued shortly. This makes the RAMBSS modules the world's first solution to meet, and in some areas even exceed, the MCA MGN 681 Amendment 1 Guidance.

The Palma International Boat Show, one of the world's most important events for the Superyacht industry, will take place from April 29th to May 2nd, 2026. A highlight will be the world premiere of our RACLAN Maritime Battery Safety System – RAMBSS modules – at booth SY 43, hosted by our partner LiVAULT - Lithium Battery Storage. RAMBSS modules were specifically developed for the safe charging and storage of Watertoys lithium-ion batteries on board Superyachts. The RAMBSS modules have successfully undergone the most comprehensive testing to date at the RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, in accordance with UL 1487 and UL 9540A. This testing was conducted under the witnesses of Lloyd's Register Surveyors. Lloyd's Register Type Approval is currently being processed. This means our RAMBSS modules meet the new MGN 681 Amendment 1 Guidance and even exceed it in some areas. Which will become relevant for yachts from 01.1.2027.
