The NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration mission “OSIRIS-REx” was the first space mission on which Optopolymer® from Berghof had to prove itself – and it did so successfully over the entire period, earning the title of "space-proof material".

Schwierige technische Missionen und extreme Anforderungen gehören bei unserem Tochterunternehmen Berghof Fluoroplastics zum Alltag. Aber was am 24. September erfolgreich endet, darauf sind selbst unsere mit allen Wassern gewaschenen Expertinnen und Experten für High-Tech-Kunststoffe stolz.

Nach dem Wechselbad der Gefühle bei der Bahn-Weltmeisterschaft in Glasgow (Schottland) ging es für die erfolgreiche Sportlerin gleich sehr ereignisreich weiter.

, Part 46, to the "Software Freedom Day" next Saturday: Anyone deciding on a new industrial PC today should think about the openness for future concepts.

The issue of high flexibility is becoming increasingly important in industrial automation. More and more companies are taking care not to block their way unnecessarily with proprietary systems.

Berghof has always deliberately avoided proprietary solutions and consistently uses the CODESYS open standard. In addition, the PLCs of our subsidiary Berghof Automation use Linux with real-time extension as the operating system, so that the operating system and CODESYS runtime environment complement each other perfectly to process tasks deterministically in real time.

Only a few more days – and we will receive a unique cargo from space on Earth. This also fascinates the stars from Asteroid City.

September 24, 2023 will go down in the history books. On this day, NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration's "OSIRIS-REx" satellite sends a capsule back to Earth with a unique cargo – seven years after its launch into space.

On October 20, 2020, after its long journey from Earth and many tests, "OSIRIS-REx" landed as planned on the asteroid "Bennu" and sucked in material from the surface with its gripper arm.

Since then, "OSIRIS-REx" has been on its long journey back to Earth with its unique and infinitely valuable cargo on board.

Nur noch wenige Tage – und wir empfangen eine einzigartige Fracht aus dem Weltraum auf der Erde. Das fasziniert auch die Stars aus Asteroid City.

Der 24. September 2023 wird in die Geschichtsbücher eingehen. An diesem Tag schickt der NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration Satellit „OSIRIS-REx“ – sieben Jahre nach seinem Start ins All – eine Kapsel mit einer einzigartigen Fracht zur Erde zurück.

Am 20. Oktober 2020 ist „OSIRIS-REx“, nach seiner langen Reise von der Erde und vielen Tests, wie geplant auf dem Asteroiden „Bennu“ gelandet und hat mit seinem Greifarm Material von der Oberfläche eingesaugt.

A perfect surprise: The new trainees of the Berghof Group had not expected this.

Our two new trainees were quite amazed: Katja Northemann, Personnel Officer Training & Further Education at the Berghof Group, had come up with a surprise – and welcomed them at the start of their first complete training week with bulging school bags.

Beforehand, on the first day of their training, Marco Caravila (apprentice industrial clerk, left in the picture) and Dimitrios Pantzaras (apprentice IT specialist for system integration) went on a first tour of the "Berghof Campus", where they were also warmly welcomed everywhere.

Marco and Dimitrios were then able to share these first positive impressions at the end of the first day at the "IHK Opening" in Reutlingen with music, pizza, table football and giant Jenga (see photo) with many other trainees from the region.

Überraschung gelungen: Damit hatten die neuen Auszubildenden der Berghof Gruppe nicht gerechnet.

Da staunten unsere beiden neuen Auszubildenden nicht schlecht: Katja Northemann, Personalreferentin Aus- & Weiterbildung bei der Berghof Gruppe, hatte sich eine Überraschung einfallen lassen – und empfing sie zum Start ihrer ersten Ausbildungswoche mit prall gefüllten Schultüten.

Zuvor ging es am ersten Tag ihrer Ausbildung für Marco Caravila (Auszubildender zum Industriekaufmann, links im Bild) und Dimitrios Pantzaras (Auszubildender zum Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration) zu einem ersten Rundgang über den „Berghof Campus“, bei dem sie ebenfalls überall herzlich begrüßt wurden.

Diese ersten positiven Eindrücke konnten Marco und Dimitrios dann als Ausklang des ersten Tages beim „IHK-Opening“ in Reutlingen bei Musik, Pizza, Tischkicker und Riesen-Jenga (siehe Foto) mit vielen anderen Auszubildenden aus der Region teilen.
