Precision, expertise and a strong partnership – the perfect combination for success!

Our partner HIGHFIELD.DESIGN Germany from Augsburg has secured 1st place at “Das Goldene Abutment”, a dental competition organized by FUNDAMENTAL in Remscheid.

Under the theme “Show what’s possible with digital technology today”, 42 participants were challenged to complete a complex patient case involving multiple restorations for the upper and lower jaw.

All milled restorations of the winning case were manufactured on our CORiTEC 350i PRO, demonstrating its precision, versatility and reliability even for the most demanding dental applications.

One highlight: An implant-supported titanium bar milled from CORiTEC Titan Grade 5 by pritidenta, part of the imes-icore Group – a perfect example of how material expertise and milling technology work hand in hand.

Pizza, Pasta & Plans for 2027!

Great partnerships start with a shared vision – and grow through trust, collaboration and common goals.

Earlier this year, imes-icore joined forces with Umbra, our Italian distribution partner based in beautiful Perugia.

Last week, we took another important step in our collaboration with our first major partnership review. Together with Sabine Bois and Michael Göllnitz from management, we reflected on what we have achieved so far and, more importantly, looked ahead to in 2027. The discussions focused on how we can further strengthen our partnership and continue growing together in the Italian dental market.

A big thank you to the entire Umbra team for the warm hospitality, inspiring conversations and great exchange of ideas – and, of course, for the delicious Italian food!

Where does quality begin?

“With the processes,” is the answer from Alexander Raab, our new Chief Operating Officer since September 1, 2026.

We are very pleased that we were able to bring him from his hometown of Coburg in Upper Franconia to Eastern Hesse, because he brings together quality management, production, and supply chain management, all managed from a single source and with a keen eye for the big picture.

Most recently, Alexander served as COO at the major machine tool manufacturer WALDRICH COBURG for about two and a half years, where he was responsible for operations. There, he had already worked his way through every business-critical department, from design to supply chain and production. He also holds certifications including Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Master.

With his clear approach, Alexander is a true asset to us: “For me, quality isn’t just a final quality control step at the end of the chain, but rather the consistent combination of standardization and continuous improvement. To that end, I foster an open and constructive ‘lessons learned’ culture with my team. Those who continuously refine their processes achieve sustained product quality at the highest level. This is how we can help shape the future of the company and the success of our customers in a sustainable way.”

Alexander brings a wealth of hands-on experience to the table; he knows manufacturing processes not just “from above.” As a trained industrial mechanic and mechanical engineer, with eight years in design and about 12 years in production, he knows what he’s talking about.

Celebrating Partnerships – Strengthening Connections Across Continents! 👥

Strong partnerships are built on trust, shared knowledge and a common vision for the future.

We were delighted to welcome Christie, Wara and Matthew from our long-standing Australian partner XYZ Dental, who has been part of our global partner network since 2017, to our headquarters in Eiterfeld.

During an intensive week, we provided hands-on training, shared product insights and explored new opportunities for our continued collaboration.

One of the highlights was a live demonstration of our hybrid manufacturing workflow. A highly complex implant structure was 3D-printed on the CORiTEC AM100 and precision-milled on the CORiTEC 350i Loader PRO+. The outstanding result impressed our guests and demonstrated the possibilities of combining additive and subtractive manufacturing.

Beyond the technical exchange, we had productive discussions about expanding our partnership and setting the course for a successful shared future.

On September 26, we had the pleasure of attending Lab Day East in Tarrytown, New York — a fantastic industry event bringing dental professionals from across the region together. 🦷✨

It was wonderful welcoming so many visitors to our booth! We truly enjoyed the inspiring conversations, making new connections, and exchanging ideas about the future of digital dentistry.

One of the highlights we shared from our Home Event 2026 is now writing its next chapter.

During the event, an exclusive CORiTEC 350i Loader PRO+ in a World Cup-inspired design was auctioned for a good cause. After finding its new home at Meddix Dental in Croatia, the story has now returned to our home region.

On September 2, part of the auction proceeds was handed over to the “Kleine Helden” Osthessen children’s and youth hospice, which supports families facing difficult life situations.

Another part of the donation supports Sparklekids Zimbabwe, helping children from disadvantaged families gain access to education and supporting women in building their own small businesses.

What began as a special moment at our Home Event has grown into a story of international partnership and social engagement. ❤️
