My native parish church (St.Vincentius Dinslaken,Germany) ringing after first communion mass.These two bells were home in Christ Church Dinslaken , until it's demolition in 2007.

Meine Heimatpfarrkirche (St. Vincentius in Dinslaken) läutet nach der Erstkommunionmesse. Diese beiden Glocken waren in der Christuskirche in Dinslaken beheimatet, bis zu deren Abriss im Jahr 2007.

La iglesia parroquial de mi pueblo natal (San Vicente de Dinslaken, Alemania), con las campanas repicando tras la misa de la Primera Comunión. Estas dos campanas se encontraban en la iglesia de Cristo de Dinslaken hasta su demolición en 2007.

La chiesa parrocchiale del mio paese natale (San Vincenzo a Dinslaken, Germania), mentre suona dopo la messa della Prima Comunione. Queste due campane erano ospitate nella Christ Church di Dinslaken fino alla sua demolizione nel 2007

L'église paroissiale de mon enfance (Saint-Vincent à Dinslaken, en Allemagne), dont les cloches sonnent après la messe de première communion. Ces deux cloches se trouvaient à l'église Christ Church de Dinslaken jusqu'à sa démolition en 2007.

On this day in 2017, we did cast 2 bells for Aurdal Kirke in Norway, extending their bell ensemble to 4 bells 🙂

On this day in 1945, my north Neighbor Town Wesel was destroyed in a final air raid - between February 16th and 19th, the town was almost erased.

Aproximately 90% of the town´s buildings were destroyed or heavily damaged, one of the lost buildings was Mathenakirche (which means ``Meadows Church`` in Old German)

This is an old documentation I made years ago, an updated version is waiting to be finished, some details of the documentation are also incorrect :

the two bells from the 1920s were made by Rincker, in the video I state they were made by Otto (Marco found it out a few years after this video was made) .

The parish decided not to rebuild the church, as the old city center had changed over the course of centuries, Willibrordi Church could serve the needs of the parish alone (also several former monastery churches were not rebuild, as the convents they served had all been abandoned or abolished)

An diesem Tag im Jahr 1945 wurde meine nördliche Nachbarstadt Wesel bei einem letzten Luftangriff zerstört – zwischen dem 16. und 19. Februar wurde die Stadt fast vollständig ausgelöscht.

Ungefähr 90 % der Gebäude der Stadt wurden zerstört oder schwer beschädigt, eines der zerstörten Gebäude war die Mathenakirche (was auf Altdeutsch „Wiesen-Kirche” bedeutet).

Dies ist eine alte Dokumentation, die ich vor Jahren erstellt habe. Eine aktualisierte Version wartet darauf, fertiggestellt zu werden, einige Details der Dokumentation sind ebenfalls falsch:

Die beiden Glocken aus den 1920er Jahren wurden von Rincker hergestellt, im Video behaupte ich jedoch, sie seien von Otto hergestellt worden (Marco hat dies einige Jahre nach der Erstellung des Videos herausgefunden).

Die Gemeinde beschloss, die Kirche nicht wieder aufzubauen, da sich die Altstadt im Laufe der Jahrhunderte verändert hatte und die Willibrordi-Kirche allein den Bedürfnissen der Gemeinde gerecht werden konnte (auch mehrere ehemalige Klosterkirchen wurden nicht wieder aufgebaut, da die Klöster, denen sie dienten, alle aufgegeben oder aufgelöst worden waren).
