Crimping ferrules made easy – here’s how!

With the KNIPEX crimping pliers 97 78 180, you can crimp ferrules from 0.25 to 16 mm² with very little effort.

Simply slide the ferrule onto the stripped conductor, close the pliers — and the connection is done.

And if the line happens to be live, the VDE handles are tested up to 1000 V.

Sounds easy? It is!

One adjustment. Two crimping ranges. KNIPEX Ferrule Crimper 97 53 14.

This crimper produces hexagonal crimps on single and twin ferrules and is UL approved when used with KNIPEX ferrules 97 99 330–399.

You switch between two crimping ranges using the adjustment wheel.

The first range covers ferrules from 0.08 to 10 mm². The second range is designed for ferrules from 10 to 16 mm² as well as twin ferrules up to 2 × 10 mm².
