“We care green” starts at home: since January 2026, the BMA head office in Braunschweig has been supplied exclusively by locally generated green electricity, reducing CO₂ emissions by more than 1,000 t annually – and requiring no technical changes at all. ♻️

New batch pan for a stable sugar process 👌

PT Angels upgrades sugar factory with technology from BMA for even crystallisation

BMA and the Indonesian sugar producer PT Angels Products, a subsidiary of PT Pasifik Agro Sentosa, have enjoyed a close and trusting partnership for many years. This successful collaboration now continues with the supply of a batch pan – the eighth of its type manufactured by BMA for this customer. 🤩

Vertical Continuous Vacuum Pans from BMA

Continuous pan boiling
In recent years, several cane sugar factories have installed vertical continuous vacuum pans (CVPs) with mechanical agitators capable of operating on low-pressure vapours to further reduce exhaust steam consumption. The cane sugar industry has until now mostly used horizontal CVPs, however, vertical CVPs offer additional advantages over horizontal CVPs, such as flexibility for cleaning chamber on the run and a smaller footprint even for pans of very large volume. 😇
