Wösthoff is a manufacturer of sampling systems, conductivity sensors and transmitters, gas mixing systems and gas analysers based in Bochum, Germany. Since Wösthoff is founded in 1917 by Heinrich Wösthoff, an engineer at a local coal mine, the company is family-owned. In 1975 Dr. Günter Schierjott takes over the management in 4th generation. In Bochum, Germany, Wösthoff develops and manufactures systems and components for sampling, conductivity measurement, gas mixture preparation and gas analysis. The Wösthoff sampling product range comprises of single components (e.g. valves, coolers, flow through vessels, flow indicators, resin columns and further accessories), panels for single line sampling and sampling systems for multiple sampling points mounted on racks, in cabinets or containers. Wösthoff as a manufacturer of pressure equipment and valves is certified welding manufacturer according to DIN EN ISO 3834-3 (EN 729-3) as well as AD200-Merkblatt HP0. This certification is based upon periodic validation of the welding procedures used according to DIN EN ISO 15614-1 and periodic examination of all welders according to EN 287-1. Customers of Wösthoff are well-known companies from petrochemical and power industry, specialty gas companies, manufacturers of gas analyzers, research facilities and national metrology institutes situated all over the world. Wösthoff serves its customers either directly or via German plant manufacturers or planning offices. For gas mixing systems and gas analysers Wösthoff is represented by Calibrated Inc. on the American market. As a member of national and international standardisation committees Wösthoff participates on developing up to date technical standards in the fields of sampling and gas mixing. Currently Wösthoff is represented in committees of DIN, ISO and VGB PowerTech. Wösthoff is your competent partner for sampling and analysis of fluids, steam and gases under difficult conditions. For power plant applications we provide valves, coolers and further equipment for sampling supercritical steam. These customized systems will be assembled of proven modules and components manufactured by Wösthoff.
