water for emergencies - falch is ready to help 👍

last weekend, the blaubeuren fire department successfully conducted an exercise with one important challenge: water supply.

at falch, we have a total capacity of around 3,000 m³ of water which we use for our 24/7 highpressure pump testrun´s in our development center.

the water is stored in a total of 6 cisterns in the underground. of course, these tanks are not always 100% full. but the purpose of last weekend’s exercise was to find out whether this water could be practically used by the fire department in an emergency to help fight fires in the surrounding industrial buildings.

the result: test passed ✅

we’re happy to know that, in an emergency, our water resources can help support the local fire department and potentially protect the surrounding area.

because when it comes to helping in an emergency...

preparing tomorrow’s professionals starts in the classroom 💡

falch is working closely with the local albert schweitzer gymnasium in laichingen to help students take their first steps toward a successful career.

this year, we once again welcomed students to learn about the application process, sharing practical tips on what recruiters look for, common dos and don’ts, and what they can expect when entering the world of work.

to bring the theory to life, the students also enjoyed a guided tour of our facilities, giving them a first-hand look at our different departments and valuable insights into everyday working life at falch.

supporting young talent and helping shape future careers is something we truly value.

we’re already looking forward to welcoming our new apprentices, who will begin their journey with us on september 1, 2026.
