During a scheduled shutdown, our service engineers joined forces with the team at RIPLEY & CO. Stevedoring & Handling PVT. Ltd. to perform extensive maintenance and repair work on an LHM 425.

To make the most of the available shutdown time, several jobs were carried out in parallel. These included replacing the closing winch gearbox, repairing the holding winch, inspecting the slewing bearing and replacing the engine flywheel housing.

Thanks to close coordination between RIPLEY’s site team and our service engineers, the full scope of work was completed in around five days.

Our recent Offshore Summit brought customers, partners and colleagues together for hands-on product insights, technical discussions, presentations and workshops.

The conversations gave us the opportunity to hear directly from crane operators, exchange perspectives and consider the challenges they face in their daily operations.

Thank you to everyone who travelled to our plant in Rostock, Germany, and shared their experience and ideas. Your insights help us further improve our solutions for specific offshore applications.

A smooth line traced in steel across the waterfront.

At the Port of Morehead City in the US, our LPS 420 travels along a rail track with a 90-degree curve. Its specially designed running gear allows the crane to follow the rail track around the corner and reach the different quay edges.

Part of the North Carolina Ports network, Morehead City serves as a deep-water gateway for bulk and breakbulk cargo.

Off the coast of Norway, this BOS 4200 has been supporting offshore operations for more than ten years. With a lifting capacity of up to 100 tonnes and a maximum outreach of 65 metres, this crane is equipped for the demanding conditions at sea.

Our BOS story began in 1975 with the delivery of our first crane in the series. Since then, we have continued to develop the range to meet changing offshore requirements. More than 50 years later, this BOS 4200 is part of that ongoing story.

Making every metre count at Dhamra Port. At this port on India’s east coast, our LHM 400 mobile harbour cranes are part of the daily bulk handling operation.

With hoppers and lorries moving around them, there is little room to spare. The mobility of our LHM cranes allows them to be positioned where they are needed, supporting flexible operations at the terminal.

Located between Haldia and Paradip, Dhamra Port features deep-draft berths and multi-cargo terminals, where a wide range of cargo is handled.
