at ICCX North Africa 2026: Day Two
Yesterday marked a strong start to the fifth ICCX North Africa in Casablanca, and today is the second and final day of the fair at the Barceló Anfa Casablanca. Masa is at 📍 booth 1, and our team is ready for more conversations on the future of concrete production.

A first milestone in Kuwait.

Despite the challenging situation in the region, our teams remain committed to supporting our customers on site and bringing their plants successfully into operation.

At our Masa WhiteHUB project for Baitak in Kuwait, we have now reached an important milestone: the first AAC cake has been cast.

The project represents a new generation of AAC production in the Middle East. The modern plant is equipped with the latest generation of motors, designed to provide the technological foundation for future AI-supported applications.

For us, however, modern technology is only one part of a successful project. Equally important is being there when our customers need us. Our colleagues continue to work closely with the team on site to move commissioning forward, even under challenging circumstances.

A big thank you to everyone involved for their commitment, flexibility and teamwork.

Step by step, the new AAC plant is coming to life.

The diagram illustrates how the Masa API creates a structured connection between production and planning systems. Production data is provided by the plant and can be retrieved by external applications such as ERP or planning systems.

This allows systems to exchange data reliably, without requiring insight into each other’s internal functionality.
Important: The Masa API acts as an interface between systems.
It complements existing systems. It does not replace them.

A few months ago, we shared the story of a special milestone: the three millionth DRN engine produced in Germany by SEW-EURODRIVE.

Now, we've had the chance to see where that motor's journey has led.
Installed at Modern Concrete's new plant in Egypt, the engine is now part of a production facility that recently achieved another important milestone: the successful production of its first AAC cake.

It's always fascinating to see how a single component becomes part of a much bigger story. What started as a manufacturing milestone in Germany is now supporting the production of building materials hundreds of kilometres away.

A great example of how engineering, collaboration and long-term partnerships connect people and projects across borders.
