20th Electric Aircraft Symposium 2026 at the Wisconsin University in Oshkosh organized by the Vertical Flight Society – Federal City Chapter
RED Aircraft is participating this year again sponsoring, advertising and presenting its RED Hybrid Generator Unit portfolio customized from currently 380kW at 800VDC down to 140kW for eVTOL & Electric Aircraft Range Extender applications as well as APU business for Commercial Aviation from Regional Jets, Single Aisle to Wide Body Aircraft.
More than 200 participants (+60 attendies compared to last year ) mainly C-Level Executives and Decision Makers from all over the world and from all kind of different stakeholders in Advanced Air Mobility exchanged today´s challenges and future solutions for making AAM successful and profitable.
NEXA Capital highlighted a big gap of $16,6B+ investment into infrastructure in order to achieve the forecasted revenue opportunity of $330B+ within the next 20 years in and around the 62 biggest cities in USA where 60% of the citizens are living.
It is all about moving people, two thirds of the future Advanced Air Mobility will be in those big cities. Hybridisation will extend the range and the endurance until battery technology will reach a capacity of 500Wh/kg and hydrogen fuel cells will reach 4kW/kg power density at 75% storage efficiency.
Key is increased test flying to collect sufficient data for the Authorities and to showcase that Advanced Air Mobility is happening already now - seeing is believing. Also communication is key, people need to be informed and involved on a regular base to achieve acceptance in the communities.
