AvtoVAZ wants to update Lada Niva Legend in 2023.
⠀
There was information that, according to the updated plan, Lada Niva Legend will be produced until 2030.
⠀
Plans for spring 2023:
🔘The salon will receive solid plastic panels, they will be cast (now they are made by vacuum forming).
🔘They will improve sound insulation, in front of the floor it will become solid.
🔘The fenders will be made from wood-filled polypropylene, as on Vesta and Grant.

Plans until the end of 2023:
🔘Install LED headlights.
🔘Install LED taillights.
🔘The hydraulic corrector will be replaced with an electric corrector.

After 2023:
🔘Install the engine from a front wheel drive vehicle.
🔘Install new front subframe.
🔘Replace most of the transmission elements with reinforced analogues. That is, structurally, the hinges, gearboxes, etc. will remain the same, but they will withstand more torque.
🔘Replace one of the CV joints back with a universal joint and a subframe for the transfer case.
It is noted that most of the transmission changes should be run in on the small-scale NIVA Sport.
