On 25 October, it’ll be time for us to once again set the clocks back by an hour. 🕑
Unfortunately, many thieves also take advantage of this darker time of year – burglaries are particularly common during these months. Hard-to-see windows and patio doors, for instance at the rear of the house, are frequent targets for break-ins.
A burglary-resistant window consists of several components that, together, increase protection against forced entry. These include laminated glass, mushroom-head locking systems, and lockable window handles. RAL200-certified handles in particular offer effective protection and can effectively help stop burglaries.
For example, we offer keyed locking SecuForte window handles in our product range:
✅ Integrated key cylinder
✅ Automatic locking function in closed position
✅ Protection against break-ins achieved by breaking the glass, drilling into the frame or manipulating the architectural fitting from outside
