Vehicle Came In With Compression Leaking Past Injector Copper Washer Seal (Chuffing).
Due To Injector Seat Being Damaged In Cylinder Head, It Was Decided To Remove The Engine And Take The Head Off To Further Investigate. Engine (And Gearbox) Removed And While Engine Was Being Stripped Down, The Timing Gears Were Found To Be Missing Teeth As Well As Timing Chain Stretched. Head And Injectors Removed And Timing Assembly Disassembled. Head Was Concluded To Be Unrepairable So New Head Was Sourced And Fitted Along With New Gaskets And Seals. Brand New Timing Kit Also Fitted Along With Water Pump, Thermostat And Various Other Parts And Gaskets. Engine Rebuilt And Fitted, Fuel System Bled Off And Adaptations Reset Before Starting. No Chuffing Or Rattling Was Heard And The Vehicle Was Test Driven For 100 Miles To Check For Any Leaks. After A Final Inspection, Car Handed Back To Owner.
