The general purpose of the action is to address the environmental problems and create awareness about the ecological crisis. At the same time, try to learn living in a more sustainable way, caring about our surrounding, understanding the causes of the problem and to proceed to address them. In addition, we believe through teamwork, the participants will have the opportunity to develop skills such
as decision-making , collaboration and responsibility. Dissemination and communication of the action are another goal of the activity so that in the long run more and more young people who are aware of the issue will participate. Our organization organizes this environmental activity that adapts to the difficult conditions, we are going through with the pandemic and can be carried out with absolute safety by observing the necessary measures. The activity concerns the cleaning of various locations all over Cyprus, that have been filled with garbage, trough an innovative way. Initially, a package will be given to a group (up to 4 people) containing the equipment needed to carry out the cleaning (bag, gloves, etc.), small snack and a gift. We ask to each group to collect photographic material, posting on social medias pictures before and after the clean up and marking the location, so other teams can know which areas have been cleaned. All the groups that participating have to use the hashtag of the challenge ( ) In addition, we encourage you to keep notes about your experience (feelings, emotions, thoughts, ideas, etc) and share them with us or in the page of the event.
