Our very first Family Day at Shipyard Kladovo 🎉

On August 20th, we opened our doors to the people who matter most: the families of our team. For many, it was the first time seeing where their loved ones go to work every day, and we loved showing them around.
With a relaxed picnic vibe, a great barbecue, face painting, a kids' entertainment crew, a photobooth full of laughs and two live bands keeping the energy up.

But beyond all the fun, this day was really about one thing: being together. Colleagues meeting each other's families. Kids running around the yard. Sharing stories and smiles outside of the daily work routine.
To everyone who joined us; thank you. Your hard work and commitment are what make Shipyard Kladovo what it is. This day was our way of saying: we see you, and we appreciate you. 🙌

Here's to making this a tradition. See you at the next one! 🤝

The 110-metre tanker Alabama has successfully completed her sea trials, marking another important milestone in the project.

The Alabama is based on the successful 135-metre Maryland and Minnesota models. Her hull was built at Shipyard Kladovo, with the design and hull delivery carried out by Gebr. de Jonge.

And the story continues: this week, her sister vessel Alaska, an 110-metre copy of the Alabama, will arrive in the Netherlands to begin her outfitting.

The arrival of the Alaska marks the next phase of the project.⚓

𝗔 𝘆𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀. 🏗️

Shipyard Kladovo stretches far beyond a single hall. Cranes tower over the slipways, hulls rise several stories high, and there's always more than one vessel taking shape at the same time.
Walk the grounds and you'll find a hull being lifted in one corner, a section being welded together in another, and steel being cut and shaped somewhere further down the line. It takes space, and a lot of it, to build ships this size.
Every meter of this yard has a purpose. And every day, it's put to work.

Another successful delivery from Shipyard Kladovo!

�The NB227 – Alaska, built for Wijgaart, has officially departed from our shipyard.🚢

Measuring 110 x 11.45 metres, the vessel features eight cargo tanks, all blasted and coated at our yard to ensure lasting quality and protection. The complete deck piping installation was carried out by PSI.
A big thank you to everyone involved for their dedication and craftsmanship throughout the project. We wish Wijgaart every success with the Alaska and many safe voyages ahead.

A special moment captured: the launch of NB229, better known as TUI Luzia.
At 80 x 11.45 metres, this river cruiser is destined for the Douro in Portugal, where she'll welcome her first guests. Next stop: Werkendam, where Concordia Damen will handle the outfitting.

Long before a vessel ever touches the water, it takes shape right here on the floor of Shipyard Kladovo. Cutting, welding, grinding, pressing, lifting: the crew is always hard at work, turning raw steel into something built to sail for decades.

Sparks fly, machines roar, and skilled hands do what they've done for generations. This is the unseen side of shipbuilding, the part that happens long before the launch.
