How to maintain the concrete mixing plants in winter?
The maintenance of a concrete mixing station in winter involves the water supply system, additive system, mixing system, batching machine and many other aspects. Only by doing these maintenance work in full can the normal operation and production efficiency of the mixing station in winter be ensured. The following are specific maintenance methods:
I. Water supply system maintenance
1. Water pump maintenance
(1) When the concrete mixing station is not used for a long time, the water in the pipe must be drained, especially if a stop valve is installed. Pay attention to draining the water at the stop valve.
(2) When used in winter, it is necessary to ensure the normal flow of water in the pipe. To prevent freezing, you can add insulation pipes.
(3) Check the joints of the water supply pipes regularly, because water is easy to accumulate at the joints, which may cause freezing. (4) If the water pump freezes and the blades are stuck, causing the motor to stall, turn off the power supply of the water pump immediately, and use hot water to melt the ice on the pump housing until the motor shaft can rotate freely. Avoid forcibly opening the water pump to avoid component damage.
2. Condensate discharge:
(1) Involves the entire pneumatic system, including air compressors, air tanks, piping systems, air filters and automatic drains.
(2) At the end of the operation, the condensate should be discharged to prevent the condensate from freezing due to the night temperature below zero.
(3) Before daily operation, the condensate should also be discharged and the automatic drain should be checked to see if it is working properly.
II. Additive system maintenance
1. Admixture pipeline:
(1) When the weather is cold, pay attention to the insulation of the pipeline and the admixture tank to prevent the admixture from freezing.
(2) If there is no construction for a long time in winter, the admixture in the admixture pipeline needs to be released to prevent freezing or corrosion of the pipeline.
2. Admixture tank:
If the mixing station has not been constructed for a long time, before construction, the admixture in the admixture tank needs to be circulated with an admixture pump to mix the admixture evenly and prevent the admixture from segregating.
3. Additive pump:
(1) Regularly maintain the additive pump and lubricate it regularly.
(2) When not in use for a long time, the additive in the additive pump must be cleaned to prevent freezing and corrosion of the additive pump.
III. Maintenance of the concrete mixer
1. Start-up operation:
(1) The mixer should be equipped with a heating device at the work site to keep the room temperature above 0°C as much as possible.
(2) The mixer must be allowed to run at no load for at least 30 minutes before starting work.
(3) If the ambient temperature is below 0°C, a heating blower must be used to heat the transmission device from the outside.
2. Storage:
(1) The mixer is best stored in a moderately heated building, and safety protection measures should be in place to ensure that there is no mechanical vibration, shaking, dust, moisture, chemical erosion, the lower limit of the low temperature is not less than -30°C, and there is a flat and reinforced base surface.
(2) If open-air storage is unavoidable, protective measures should be taken, such as covering with a wooden roof covered with plastic tarpaulin, and covering with plastic and rubber materials for sun protection.
(3) Before long-term storage, the exposed parts of the mixer should be coated with anti-rust oil.
(4) During long-term storage, it should be stored in a safe, dry, and moderately heated building, and the inside and outside of the mixer should be cleaned and dried. All bolted joints, joint surfaces, and exposed rotating surfaces should be sprayed with anti-rust oil one by one, and surface protection measures should be repeated as needed.
(5) All bearings, sealing elements, reducers and lubricating components of the mixer should be thoroughly filled with the specified corresponding brand of grease and lubricating oil.
(6) During storage, the mixer should be regularly inspected and maintained, such as turning the rotating part of the V-belt drive part by hand every 3 months, and the hand pump on the hydraulic component should be operated about 5 times; after 6 months of storage, the reducer should be re-lubricated.
IV. Batching system maintenance
1. Transmission system: Regularly add lubricating oil to the batching station transmission system and clean impurities regularly.
2. Air supply system: Regularly clean the air supply system and pipeline moisture of the batching station to prevent freezing during winter construction.
3. Sand and gravel warehouse: After the construction is completed, clean the remaining materials in the sand and gravel warehouse to prevent freezing the next day and delaying production.
V. Other maintenance measures
1. Electrical components and control systems: Turn on half an hour before work to ensure normal operation.
2. Lubrication: Regularly add lubricating oil to important structures such as bearings of the mixing station to prevent rust and other problems after long-term non-operation.
3. Cleaning: Clean the accumulated materials on the inner and outer material doors of the mixer after each use and rinse them clean. Fill the lubrication points at each lubrication point, especially the shaft end seal.
4. Shutdown: After shutdown, all switches are in a non-working state and the power supply is cut off in time.
