Continuous carbonization furnaces are particularly suitable for carbonizing powdered materials, such as sawdust, sawdust, rice husks, etc. There is no particular benefit for carbonizing logs, because logs cannot be directly carbonized using a continuous furnace, and carbonization treatment must be carried out first. The continuous carbonization furnace requires the raw material to have a particle size of less than 2 cm.

For some small carbonization furnaces, when processing sawdust, it is generally necessary to shape it first, otherwise the carbonization will not be thorough, the sawdust will accumulate too densely in the furnace, and the heat transfer will be uneven.

The daily processing capacity of a small furnace is generally 1-2 tons, and the output is low. The continuous carbonization furnace can process more than 100 tons of sawdust per day.

In addition, the continuous carbonization furnace operates continuously for 24 hours, and charcoal can be produced without cooling, which saves a lot of time and heat energy. In terms of heating, the continuous carbonization furnace can use the combustible gas generated by carbonization for heating after the carbonization begins, and the energy saving is comparable to that of ordinary carbonization furnaces.

Although continuous carbonization furnaces are more expensive than ordinary carbonization furnaces, the steel used in general carbonization furnaces is several thousand tons per ton. Continuous carbonization furnaces require continuous high temperatures, so their furnaces are made of stainless steel 310S.

The continuous carbonization furnace is a continuous carbonization equipment that uses a drum carbonization furnace to carry out dry distillation and oxygen-free carbonization of various carbon-containing wood materials such as sawdust, peanut shells, rice husks, nut shells, coconut shells, palm shells, wood blocks, and coal materials under certain conditions, and has a high yield.
The continuous carbonization furnace is composed of four major equipment: a feeder, a carbonization furnace, a flue gas purification system, and a cooler.
When the continuous carbonization furnace is in operation, the material is added to the carbonization furnace through the feeder. Because the carbonization machine is almost a closed space, it meets the condition of less oxygen, so that the material is dry distilled at a high temperature of more than 600 degrees inside the carbonization machine and carbonized. The carbonized material generates flue gas inside the carbonization machine. After the flue gas purification system removes gas impurities such as wood tar smoke, it returns to the carbonization machine for combustion, so that the heat energy of the machine can operate continuously, achieving a smokeless, environmentally friendly, and continuous effect. Finally, the finished charcoal is transported by the cooler to cool it down, so that the temperature of the charcoal is only 50-80 degrees when it comes out. Mist spray equipment can also be added to cool the charcoal for a second time to completely eliminate the fire source.
