North Sea Offshore is a manufacturer of lightweight aluminum structures for the offshore and marine industry. Our spacious, fully equipped production facility in Yantai, China, is at the current center of the global offshore and marine construction industry lending u

s a competitive edge in balancing low cost production with high quality design and engineering. Our experienced team can provide a range of fully tested, class approved and certified (DNV, ABS, CCS, LR, BV) high quality aluminum solutions for our customers offshore and onshore needs. We take pride in the quality of our products with a commitment to aftersales service. Our patented helicopter deck is accepted worldwide for safe and reliable take-off and landing on both offshore and onshore vessels and structures. The lightweight aluminum pancake consists of an extruded deck plank and girder beam. This combined with an aluminum sub-structure reduces the total weight to half that of steel. In addition, serrations ensure high friction co-efficiency on the landing deck which can be either painted green or left neutral. No welding is required during site installation as the helideck is entirely bolted together. All plates and extruded profiles are marine grade 6 # # # or 5 # # # serials. The fasteners for aluminum connections are SS316 grade A40-70 or 80.

NSO North Sea Offshore
After delivering our scopes for Boreas last year, it’s exciting to see the vessel now completing its maiden offshore wind campaign at Nordseecluster A. A great example of how early‑stage outfitting supports long‑term operational performance.
Our combined scope included:
Aluminum helideck
Fixed and loose furniture for accommodation areas, public spaces, offices, and operational rooms
Integrated design coordination, production, and quality control
Logistics and delivery aligned with yard sequencing
Delivering these two scopes together allowed NSO to support the project through a single coordinated interface, reducing complexity for the shipyard and ensuring consistent standards across structural and interior packages.
We appreciate the strong cooperation from the shipyard and project teams. Their coordination and technical clarity played a major role in keeping the schedule aligned and the standards high.
The Boreas adds to NSO’s growing portfolio across SOVs, CSOVs, WTIVs, heavy‑lift vessels, and offshore platforms. We remain committed to dependable ex*****on and long‑term partnerships in the offshore wind sector.
For upcoming newbuilds or refits, NSO can support interior outfitting and aluminum structures through a single, integrated partner, helping reduce interfaces and simplify project ex*****on.

Quality both shapes the future and strengthens trust.
NSO has successfully passed the ISO 9001:2015 recertification audit by DNV, reaffirming the reliability of our global ex*****on capability.
The audit covered our headquarters, factory, and project sites, validating the effectiveness of our processes across design, manufacturing, supply chain, production, and continuous improvement.
For vessel owners, shipyards, and offshore developers, this means one thing: a partner you can trust for consistent delivery, predictable quality, and scalable project ex*****on.
NSO remains committed to providing reliable, efficient, and trusted offshore engineering equipment and marine outfitting solutions to clients worldwide.

NSO Marks Key Outfitting & Construction Milestones on Adora Flora City
North Sea Offshore (NSO) is proud to support Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS) and Adora Cruises on the next-generation cruise ship Adora Flora City.
Our scope covers three integrated packages:
>EPC delivery for key operational spaces including the bridge, engine control room, offices, medical center, and support areas
>Full installation of the vessel’s balcony and exterior glazing systems
>Large‑scale interior construction across passenger cabin decks and the SPA & GYM public areas
Recently, the vessel’s computer room, one of the core technical control zones, successfully passed its external completion inspection; a key milestone that reflects the steady progress of the project’s technical outfitting work. With this inspection completed, the overall interior program has now entered its coordinated “final sprint” phase toward system-by-system completion and acceptance.
This project highlights NSO’s capability to execute complex, multi‑disciplinary marine outfitting with the quality, coordination, and schedule discipline required on modern cruise vessels.
Proud to contribute to a milestone project for China’s cruise shipbuilding industry and to continue supporting shipyards and owners with reliable, scalable ex*****on.

As we welcome the Year of the Horse, we step into a season defined by strength, resilience, and forward momentum. In Chinese tradition, the horse is a symbol of courage that does not hesitate and spirit that does not tire as a reminder that progress comes from both power and grace.
In that same spirit, we look ahead with a mindset that blends East and West:
The steady discipline of the open sea and the bold stride of a galloping steed.
May this New Year inspire us to charge toward opportunity, navigate challenges with clarity, and rise to each moment with renewed purpose.
NSO is wishing you and your loved ones a prosperous, healthy, and joyful Lunar New Year.

NSO Helideck Friction Test Surpasses CAP 437 Standards — A Testament to Safety, Excellence, and Global Impact
In a recent third-party test, the surface of NSO's aluminum helideck achieved a friction coefficient of 0.8, significantly exceeding the CAP 437 minimum requirement of 0.6 for stationary helidecks. This result is more than a technical milestone, it’s a statement; Safety First. This isn’t just compliance. It’s commitment to saving lives. Helicopter operations on offshore platforms are inherently high-risk. Landing on a helideck in wet, windy, or unstable conditions demands absolute surface integrity. Studies show that deteriorated helideck friction is a contributing factor in over 15% of offshore helicopter near-miss incidents, often linked to rotor downwash, skirting damage, or surface wear. By delivering a friction coefficient well above regulatory thresholds, NSO is actively reducing the risk of:
Skid-related landing accidents
Rotor wash destabilization
Emergency evacuation complications
Our helidecks aren’t just metal platforms. They’re lifelines for:
Emergency medevac operations
Crew transfers in remote seas
Maintenance access for offshore turbines and rigs
Every bolt, weld, and surface coating is designed with one goal: to keep offshore operations safe, efficient, and globally connected. We don’t just build helidecks. We build trust. We build safety. We help to build the infrastructure that keeps offshore energy flowing and lives protected.

NSO is proud to have delivered the aluminum helideck for the Maersk Offshore Wind WTIV which has just completed sea trials and is now on track for delivery. Built for performance, safety, and global-class compliance, our helideck is now part of a vessel that overcame doubt and has emerged stronger. We’re honored to have played a role in this offshore comeback story. This isn’t just a delivery milestone. It’s a story of resilience, collaboration, and offshore excellence. Congratulations to Seatrium, Maersk Offshore Wind, and every stakeholder who believed in the mission.
