🥳Chain fatigue testing evaluates the resistance of roller chains, silent chains and leaf chains to progressive failure under repeated fluctuating tensile stress. Prior to testing, chain specimens with specified standard lengths are cleaned, inspected for initial defects and installed onto the driving and driven sprocket assemblies of the fatigue test bench.

A calibrated hydraulic or mechanical loading mechanism applies a predefined alternating tensile load range to the chain, while the drive unit maintains a stable cyclic reciprocating motion at a set cycle frequency. 👍

A cyclic fatigue test of transmission and conveyor chains is now performing on GPS-0100 testing system, in accordance with ISO and GB chain performance standards. A test chain sample is mounted between two special designed fixtures, subjected to repeated alternating tensile loads at a preset constant frequency throughout the test cycle.
