the movie . It begins with the warmth of food, yet ends with the cruelty of war, holding out hope for a better life.
Inside the restaurant lies revelry and abundance, while outside are war‑stricken orphans, displaced and starving. One truly understands the old saying: While the rich feast, the poor starve to death.
Innocent children deserve care and protection. Instead, they are exploited amid war, left helpless at a young age, and lose their lives under false pretences. The film leaves me filled with sorrow.
At the end, when the protagonist encounters Dragon Restaurant again, it hints that Saif is still alive. This open‑ended scene represents ordinary people like you and me's simplest yearning for a better life.
