Reasons and elimination of air compressor failure or low air pressure
The cause of the malfunction is:
(1) The intake valve plate of the air compressor has fallen off or is padded with foreign objects, and it is not tightly closed. The phenomenon is that the air inlet is touched by hand, and its temperature is also high. The solution is to remove foreign objects and reinstall the valve disc. If the valve disc is deformed, uneven or damaged, it should be replaced with a new one.
(2) The exhaust valve plate screws are loose or fall out. If the valve plate is broken or cannot be fully opened, accompanied by high surface temperature of the air compressor, the exhaust valve screw can be screwed on again or the exhaust valve can be replaced.
(3) The cylinder gasket of the air compressor has washed off and leaked air. The cylinder gasket should be replaced.
(4) The piston ring and the cylinder block are severely worn, or the piston ring is broken and the cylinder is pulled. The piston ring and cylinder liner can be replaced according to the situation.
(5) The air compressor gear slips. The gear and shaft of the air compressor are tapered and compressed with high torque to complete torque transmission, without keyway. The reason for slipping is generally due to insufficient torque of the fastening nut and looseness. It can be reinstalled and the nut tightened to a torque of 200-300Nm. Attention: During installation, Loctite 242 anti loosening adhesive should be applied to the threaded area.
The method to determine the gear slip of the air compressor is to forcefully press against the piston (when it goes up), rotate the flywheel, and check whether the air compressor piston goes up with it. If it does not move, it indicates that the gear has slipped.
(6) During installation, the cylinder head was installed upside down, and the intake was replaced by exhaust, with reverse injection. The cylinder head of the air compressor is marked at the inlet and outlet: "S" is the inlet, and "D" is the exhaust. It should be removed and reinstalled.
(7) The partition walls of the intake and exhaust chambers are perforated and interconnected. The cylinder head should be replaced.
(8) The pressure regulating valve cup is cracked, accompanied by a continuous "Chi Chi" sound of air leakage; Or the piston is stuck in the keyway and cannot establish pressure. The cup assembly needs to be replaced and the pressure regulating valve needs to be cleaned.
