From October 8–10th, Comen joined Thailand's emergency medicine community at the 1st Royal Thai College of Emergency Physicians — 1st RCEPT Congress 2026—in Pattaya.

Alongside our emergency and resuscitation solutions, Asst. Prof. Dr. Chaiwut Sawawiboon MD. Led a focused session: “Beyond the Pulse Check: EtCO₂ as the Flight Data Recorder for Automated CPR.”

Using the Comen ES5 Chest Compression System as the clinical context, the discussion looked beyond compressions alone— ACLS guidelines, useful of EtCO2 during patient transport, ventilation rate and tidal volume, device positioning, and event timestamps as valuable inputs for resuscitation review and quality improvement.

60 Years of Siriraj Anesthesia: Making the Invisible Visible

For six decades, the Department of Anesthesiology at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, has helped advance safe perioperative and critical care in Thailand.

Its 60th anniversary celebration opened the door to a side of healthcare patients do not always see. Through the public engagement activity, visitors gained a closer understanding of anesthesia, the work of anesthesiologists, and the care that surrounds every surgical journey—from preoperative preparation and anesthesia options to pain management and critical care.

Congratulations to the Siriraj Anesthesia team on this meaningful milestone. Comen is honored to work alongside the team and looks forward to continuing our collaboration in support of safer, more confident care.
