The Middle-Autumn Festival 🎈 🎈🎈

The Middle-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is a traditional Chinese holiday celebrated on the 15th day of 8th lunar month. It usually falls in September or October on the Gregorian calendar, marking the arrival of the autumn season in China.

One of the most iconic traditions of the Mid-Autumn Festival is the consumption of mooncakes. These are round, dense pastries often filled with sweet or savory fillings such as lotus seed paste,red bea paste, or egg yolks. Mooncakes are beautifully decorated and exchanged as gifts amony family members and friends.

These festival has deep cultural significance for the Chinese people. It symbolizes, family love, and the importance of harmony with nature. It is a time when people express their wishes for a better future and pray for good health and fortune.

P.S We will have a three-day holiday from September 15th to 17th,2024. Normal business will resume on September 18th.

Happy Dragon Boat Festival 🌿 🌿🌿

The Duanwu Festival, commonly known as the Dragon Boat Festival (5th day of the 5th lunar month).

Eating zongzi. Zongzi are pyramid-shaped dumplings made of glutinous rice, stuffed with different fillings and wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves. This traditional food is popular during the Dragon Boat Festival.

In 2024, Dragon Boat Festival falls on June 10 (Monday). We will have 3 days of public holiday from Saturday (June 8) to Monday (June 10).
