ASE CHINA 2026 Recap: Three Days of Coating & Converting Conversations in Shanghai
Shanghai, Sep 18, 2026 — ASE CHINA 2026 wrapped up on Sep 17 after three busy days at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
As a UFI-certified event for the adhesives, sealants, tapes and functional films industry, the show brought together hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors from 60+ countries and regions.
We were there, showcasing our high-performance coating and converting equipment for adhesive tape, protective film and functional film applications.
What the show looked like for us
Throughout the three days, our booth saw a steady stream of global buyers, material manufacturers and R&D engineers. Our sales and technical teams had face-to-face discussions about real production challenges — coating uniformity, drying performance, material changeover, and long-run machine stability.
Many visitors came with actual project needs: hot-melt coating, water-based adhesive coating, thin-film precision coating, line-speed upgrades and production-line retrofits. We walked each one through customised proposals based on their substrate, adhesive formula and target coating weight.
We also picked up valuable first-hand feedback on where the market is heading — especially the growing demand for energy-saving, high-automation coating lines.
What's next
The show may be over, but the conversation isn't. We're now sorting through every inquiry collected on-site and following up with each interested customer.
Going forward, we'll keep focusing on reliable roll-to-roll coating & converting machinery — pushing equipment stability, energy efficiency and customisation further, so we can deliver better production solutions for adhesive and functional film manufacturers worldwide.
