Aquaponics is a new type of compound farming system that combines aquaculture and vegetable production, two originally completely different farming technologies, to achieve scientific synergy through ingenious ecological design, thereby achieving fish farming without changing water. Water quality concerns, the ecological symbiotic effect of growing vegetables normally without fertilizing. Achieving a harmonious ecological balance between animals, plants, and microorganisms is a sustainable, cyclic, zero-emission, low-carbon production model in the future, and is the most effective way to effectively solve the agricultural ecological crisis.
Advantage:
Natural and organic: It is strictly forbidden to use any drugs in the aquaponics system. If you use fishery pesticides in the fish pond, it will endanger the growth of the vegetable part; if you use pesticides in the vegetable planting part, it will immediately cause the death of the fish. The addition of chemical fertilizers that are toxic to fish is also strictly prohibited in aquaponic systems. At the same time, because fish manure contains comprehensive nutrients needed by vegetables, vegetables are highly resistant to pests and diseases, and the plant antibiotics secreted by rhizosphere microorganisms in vegetable roots are also very beneficial to fish health.The fish meat is also delicious and firm, and the vegetables are sweet, vegetable-flavored, tender and refreshing because they absorb comprehensive nutrients.
shortcoming:
1. The initial investment will be huge, and the hardware and software facilities must be complete;
2. The technical level is relatively high and the system must be able to pay attention to the ecological balance at all times;
3. The degree of automation is high, and the cost of daily maintenance is much higher than that of traditional breeding.
