FRDT Series Rotary Drum Sludge Thickener!
The principle of the FRDT series sludge drum concentrator is to slowly pass the sludge through the rotating drum filter. The sludge stays on the filter belt, while the free water passes through the filter cloth and is filtered out, thereby achieving the effect of reducing the sludge volume.
Sludge with good flocculation enters the rotating drum through the inlet of the concentrator. There is a spiral structure in the drum, and the spiral is covered with a polyester filter belt. The free water in the sludge passes through the filter belt into the water collection tank, while the sludge is pushed forward by the rotation of the spiral. In the first half, most of the free water in the sludge passes through the filter belt, while in the second half, due to the continuous rolling of the sludge, the free water contained in the flocs is further filtered out, thereby increasing the solid content of the discharged sludge.
Through the concentrating effect, the volume of the sludge can be reduced to 10-30% of the original, effectively improving the processing capacity of the subsequent dewatering equipment and reducing the load of the subsequent process.
The processing capacity is applicable to municipal mixtures with a concentration of 1-1.5%, concentrated to 4-8%.
