When applying waterproof coating, thicker is not always better. Excessively thick single coat tends to cause blistering. Apply thin coats repeatedly to achieve a total film thickness of 2mm. Feel free to leave your construction questions in the comment section

Here is your waterproofing guide 💡 Remember this one key rule:
Effective waterproofing isn't about expensive coatings; it relies entirely on the substrate, attention to detail, and proper procedure!
1️⃣ Substrate Preparation | Determines 50% of success or failure! ❗️🔥
Many workers skip this to rush the schedule—don't let them get away with it!
❌ Applying coating directly without prepping the substrate = a waste of effort!
✅ The correct approach:
▪️ Thoroughly clean floors and walls to remove loose dust, cement lumps, oil stains, and hollow spots.
▪️ Repair cracks and uneven patches on walls and floors beforehand.
▪️ Keep the surface slightly damp but free of standing water.
Standing water causes the waterproof layer to blister, delaminate, or peel off!
2️⃣ Reinforcing Critical Points | Extra protection for leak-prone areas ⚠️
🔹 Pipe/Floor drain bases: Apply two separate coats of waterproofing first; fiberglass mesh can be added for reinforcement.
🔹 Bay windows/Balcony windows: Pay special attention to sealing the joints.
3️⃣ Application Standards | Height & Technique ❗️ Keep a close watch 👀
📏 Standard waterproofing heights for the whole house (screenshot and save this)
✅ Shower area: Coat fully up to 2.4m (ceiling height) or at least ≥1.8m.
✅ Toilet/Dry area: Wall height ≥1.8m.
✅ Kitchen/Balcony: Wall height ≥30cm.
✅ Rooftop terrace: Wall height ≥2.0cm.
✍️ Correct application technique
▪️ Apply multiple thin coats! Never apply one thick coat! (Thick coats will crack).
▪️ Alternate between horizontal and vertical strokes, allowing each coat to dry completely before applying the next.
Cross-pattern application ensures a more uniform and dense waterproof layer.
4️⃣ Drying & Curing | 💯 A crucial step often overlooked
After applying the coats:
Allow to air-dry and cure for 24–48 hours.
