广州市盛洲地基基础工程有限公司负责该项目的地基处理工程施工任务，软基处理采用水泥搅拌桩和堆载预压施工工艺，根据现场的地质条件选择最佳设计方案和施工范围，划分搅拌桩区域和堆载预压区域，目前堆载预压工序正在有序施工中。

伊拉克巴士拉的大法奥港，在伊拉克南部巴士拉省法奥地区，一座正在崛起的港口巨人，港口长度将达50多公里，集石油、集装箱、散货、仓储等于一体，成为伊拉克“发展之路”基建计划的起点，建成后，预计将成为中东地区最大的港口之一。

伊拉克法奥港集装箱码头地基处理项目正在紧张施工中，盛洲公司主要参建项目的地基处理工程，需要对吹填地基进行地基处理，以提高地基承载力和地基强度，吹填地基下层含有深厚的砂层和淤泥层，其中上表层2m内的砂层和中间亦有11米左右厚度砂层，非常密实，标贯击数非常大，增加了施工难度，工程内容：引孔作业和塑料排水板施打，工程量达1000多万米，排水板的打设最大深度27米。

项目地处于中东热带沙漠地区，气候炎热干燥，全年高温少雨，夏季室外最高气温高达50℃以上，为了确保施工有序推进和保护好员工的安全管理，施工时间由白天改为晚上进行施工，保质保量完成预定的工作计划。

Integral speedy vacuum pump prelaoding patent method ，This method is categorized as the vertical drain construction method which is one of ground improvement methods. Driving Prefabricated Vertical Drains (PVD) (a drain material) into a target soil layer and applying weight load on it by mounding or the like creates excess pore water pressure within the soft soil layer. The water under the excess pore water pressure flows into the drain material through the material's surface, rises along grooves vertically formed in the drain material, and is discharged through sand mats laid between the soft soil and the mounding. As a result, consolidation of the soft soil is facilitated with improvement of foundation strength.

To speed up consolidation process due to embankment under new port, PVD technology combined with sandy surcharge and times to times Vacuum has been applied to mitigate long terms settlements.

Due to very hard soil met at project site (Cone resistance value Qc up to 10-15 Mpa), we SUNZO have mobilized the heaviest PVD machines available in our fleet. Aim was to maintain high productivity but also to avoid our client to perform predrilling works.

Vacuum preloading (consolidation) method for improving fine grain soil. This method utilizes atmosphere pressure as a temporary surcharge for improving fine grain soft soil.

The basic idea of vacuum preloading method is applying a vacuum suction into an isolated soil mass to reduce the atmosphere pressure and pore water pressure in the soil, resulting soil consolidation and effective stress enhance without change the total stress.

Basically, whole vacuum preloading system consists of drainage system, isolation system and vacuum pumps. Once generated in vacuum pumps, vacuum suction rapidly spreads into soils along drainage system, reducing atmosphere and pore water pressure and forming pressure difference between vertical drains and pore water in soils. This pressure difference cause the pore water flows toward vertical drain which means soil consolidation happens. Vacuum suction keeps taking out water and air and accelerating soil consolidation.

Drainage system is an interconnected network of PVD, horizontal filter pipes and sand layer, forming a complete path for spreading of vacuum suction and water flow.

Isolation system is used to cutoff leakage of water & air below it. It consists of geomembrane, the soft clay itself and cutoff wall if necessary.
