Empowering Highland Construction | Tibet Keshun Manufacturing Base Grand Opening
Today, a delegation comprising Zhu D**gqing, Director of the Professional Committee of the China Building Waterproofing Association; Zhang Yong, Chief Engineer; and expert Hu Jun; Qu Peihua, President of the Shenzhen Waterproofing Association, and Liu Guohua, Chief Engineer; Wang Lan, Deputy Director of the National Quality Inspection Center for Waterproofing and Water-saving Materials; Xu Junhang of the Tibet Construction Industry Association; Lu Guanchang, Secretary-General of the Tibet Real Estate Association; Zhang Ye, Deputy Secretary-General of the Tibet Survey, Design and Construction Technology Association; along with relevant technical professionals and engineers, visited the Tibet Keshun production base for inspection and guidance. The visit centered on research and exchange regarding the application of plateau waterproofing materials and the development of localized industries.
Mr. Ye Ji, Vice President of Keshun Co., Ltd., D**g Hai, Marketing Director, and Gou Beibing, Director of the Tibet Liaison Office, accompanied and received the delegation throughout the visit.
During the inspection, the expert group visited the production workshops and the roof exposure test site in sequence, gaining a detailed understanding of the base's production operations, process technology, and quality control, and observing firsthand the performance of various waterproofing products under the special plateau environment. The group focused its research on Keshun's adaptive waterproofing technologies and product systems developed for plateau operating conditions such as high altitude, intense ultraviolet radiation, and large temperature variations.
Throughout the inspection, the expert group conducted a meticulous review and raised professional inquiries focusing on core aspects including the base's production line processes, quality control procedures, and production standards for plateau-adapted products.
The snow-plateau climate and environment are unique, imposing extremely stringent requirements on the weatherability, stability, and durability of waterproofing materials.
At the roof exposure test site, several exposed-type waterproofing products were on display, including TPO, YD-500, and APF-99W. The expert group carefully examined the in-service condition of each product after long-term natural plateau exposure, and highly commended Keshun's development philosophy of grounding itself in plateau realities, deepening the iteration of localized products, and optimizing waterproofing system solutions in a targeted manner.
The expert group stated that Tibet's infrastructure construction and urban-rural construction projects are progressing steadily, and that high-quality, highly-adapted waterproofing building materials are a crucial safeguard for regional engineering quality and safety. They expressed the hope that Tibet Keshun will leverage its local location advantages and production capacity advantages, continue to deepen its technical breakthroughs in the field of plateau waterproofing, continuously improve its product system adapted to cold, high-altitude environments, strengthen industry technical exchange and innovation, and build a robust waterproofing safety barrier for local construction projects.
Ye Ji, Group Vice President, expressed sincere gratitude for the expert group's visit and guidance. Mr. Ye stated that the Tibet base is a strategic layout of great importance for Keshun to complete its national production capacity footprint and serve construction in the western plateau. Keshun will carefully heed the expert group's guidance, continuously optimize its production and technology systems by benchmarking against high industry standards, and diligently carry out the R&D and production of plateau-adapted waterproofing products.
