When sourcing crankshafts, choose high-quality suppliers, focusing on stable quality, reliable delivery, competitive pricing, comprehensive service, and trustworthy partnership.

I. Core Hard Capabilities: Product Quality and Technology (First Priority)
Raw Material Control: Materials adapted to procurement scenarios (ductile iron QT700-2/42CrMo alloy steel, etc.), with steel mill traceability and furnace number tracking. Incoming materials undergo spectral/hardness/metallographic testing, and reports can be provided;
Processing Technology: Equipped with high-precision equipment such as CNC crankshaft grinding machines and coordinate measuring machines. Core processes (forging/casting/nitriding/dynamic balancing) are mature, meeting accuracy standards and ensuring batch consistency;
Quality Control System: Full-process testing (raw materials → processing → ex-factory), 100% testing at critical points, each crankshaft has a unique identifier for traceability;

I would like to share with you an incident that occurred during our company's supervision and quality control process:
**The Incident:** The final batch—consisting of five high-value export items—was scheduled for completion and shipment by August 28, with final warehousing at a designated customs facility in Shanghai required by September 1.

**Course of Events:** On the morning of August 25, progress on the items awaiting delivery appeared entirely on track. The batch had entered the final assembly stage—specifically, the attachment of connecting fl**ges—and was ready for oil-sealing, packaging, and shipment immediately upon completion of final inspections.
However, since the connecting fl**ges were outsourced components, an incoming inspection—conducted under the direct observation of our supervisory personnel—revealed that the perpendicularity between the fl**ge face and the tapered shaft to which it connects was out of tolerance. (Of the five connecting fl**ges, two passed inspection while three failed.) Our supervisory personnel immediately halted the fl**ge assembly process and traveled personally to the subcontractor's facility to inspect their machining equipment and manufacturing processes. There, they collaborated with the machine operators and the subcontractor's technical staff to analyze the root causes of the perpendicularity deviation. Through the collective efforts of all three parties, the manufacturing workflow was appropriately adjusted; specifically, pre-clamping cleanliness checks on the machine fixtures were introduced, and the equipment's feed rates were optimized. These measures successfully resolved the quality issue regarding the outsourced fl**ges in a single stroke. Furthermore, working alongside the subcontractor's production manager, our team established a detailed, hour-by-hour production schedule for the three non-conforming fl**ges that required rework. Ultimately, the three reworked fl**ges successfully passed the incoming inspection and proceeded to the final fitting and assembly stage, thereby securing the necessary time to ensure the entire shipment departed smoothly on August 28. Our company's supervisory personnel, by demonstrating their profound technical expertise and process knowledge, earned the high praise of the subcontractor's management, technical staff, and machine operators alike.

Although this case represents just a minor episode in our company's history, we remain committed to "nipping problems in the bud" and applying the lessons learned broadly across our operations. According to the power source, railway locomotives are mainly classified into three categories.

Steam locomotive

The oldest in history, it is driven by steam engines that convert the thermal energy of fuels (such as coal and oil) into mechanical energy. The structure includes a boiler (for steam production), a turbine (for energy conversion), a running gear (for support and transmission), a coal-water car (for fuel and water storage), etc. However, due to its low thermal efficiency (only about 6%-7%), high energy consumption (water needs to be added every 80-100 kilometers and coal every 200-300 kilometers), and severe pollution, it has been gradually phased out. Steam locomotives were discontinued in China in 1988 and are currently only preserved as historical and cultural heritage.

Diesel locomotive

Powered by a diesel engine and driven by a transmission device to drive the wheels, its thermal efficiency (about 30%-40%) is significantly higher than that of steam locomotives, and it has a long continuous working time and is suitable for long-distance operation. The diesel locomotives in China are mainly of the "Dongfeng" series (such as Dongfeng 4, Dongfeng 11, etc.), and they are one of the main models in current railway transportation.

Electric locomotive

Relying on external power supply (obtaining electrical energy through overhead contact lines or power rails) and driven by electric motors, it has advantages such as environmental friendliness (no exhaust emissions) and high efficiency (high power and fast speed), and is the main direction of future development.
