🌊Recently, the Lekki Deep Sea Port in Nigeria, invested in, constructed, and operated by CCCC’s subsidiary CHEC, welcomed its first Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) vessel, the "Sagitta." This milestone further strengthens intermodal connectivity and port resilience in the Gulf of Guinea, offering greater flexibility for Nigeria's import and export markets.
Lekki Port is Nigeria's premier deep-sea port. In 2023, it obtained Nigeria's first international transshipment license. By 2025, its throughput exceeded 548,000 TEUs, with an average annual compound growth rate of 221%, making it Nigeria's second-largest trading port in just two years.
As the surrounding road network and logistics center continue to develop, the port is expected to drive USD 361 billion in GDP growth and create 170,000 jobs over its 45-year concession period. Currently, about 98% of its employees are Nigerian nationals, and carbon emissions are projected to be reduced by 2,013 tons in 2026. With speed and efficiency, Lekki Deep-Seaport is reshaping the trade landscape of West Africa.

Honghu Lake, the seventh-largest freshwater lake in China, plays a vital role in flood regulation, irrigation, and biodiversity conservation, earning it the title of the "Kidney of Hubei." The ecological restoration project along the Yangtze River–Honghu Lake shoreline, undertaken by CCCC, has brought this water body back to life.
The project selected flood-tolerant and soil-anchoring tree species such as pond cypress, Chinese tallow, and wax tree. After withstanding harsh winters and flood seasons, the forests have once again flourished.
The southwestern corner of Honghu Lake was once the largest landfill site in the area. CCCC teams applied innovative techniques to address wastewater collection and safe treatment, while also building an ecological protection barrier.
What was once an ecological wasteland has now been transformed into a scenic lakeside park, drawing visitors for camping and leisurely strolls. This remarkable shift from pollution control to landscape development has not only improved the local environment but also set a replicable example for similar water body restoration projects across the country.

Early in the morning, Ashraliev drives along the smooth asphalt roads of Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan — the very first project he ever worked on: the Bishkek municipal road network renovation project. In 2016, he joined CRBC, starting with document management and on-site coordination, and gradually grew under the patient guidance of Chinese engineers. "The old dirt roads were muddy in the rain and dusty in the sun — sometimes the dust was so thick we didn't dare open the windows," he recalls. Today, the road network has been completely transformed, with vehicles moving smoothly through the city.
Now 37, he has risen to deputy manager of the design department. As he walks through the city streets, he often says with pride: "We built this." From his early days on the construction site to becoming a key team member, he has witnessed the transformation of his hometown's roads — and his own transformation as well. "I believe that in the future, I can use what I've learned to contribute even more to building my hometown. I feel extremely proud."

As (the ) arrives, the summer heat lingers — the "autumn tiger" still holds its grip. Let's see how builders welcome this seasonal turn — "biting autumn" with a bite of sweet watermelon, a simple comfort in the sweltering heat; and "fattening up for autumn" with hearty meals from the site canteen, fueling the team for the days ahead. To fend off the "autumn tiger," work schedules are adjusted to avoid the hottest hours, protecting the health of every builder. A slice of melon, a warm meal, a caring safeguard — these are the small rituals that mark the season for CCCC people. Wishing you a safe and healthy Beginning of Autumn!

Recently, CCCC's subsidiary CFHEC’s "Seagull Program" ( ) officially launched, with nearly 600 representatives from communities and educational institutions attending the ceremony. The Vocational Skills Certification Center and the CCCC Jingchu Workshop in Cameroon were also inaugurated, establishing a comprehensive "training-practice-evaluation-certification" talent system.
The program adopts a distinctive "10% theory + 20% expert guidance + 70% on-site practice" training model. The first cohort of 54 trainees will undergo a 10‑day joint training program, and those who pass the assessments will receive a tripartite vocational skills certificate. Through the deep integration of the certification center and the training workshop, the program combines Chinese standards with local practices, facilitating technology transfer and upskilling local . The initiative aims to cultivate a cadre of local professionals capable of independently participating in major infrastructure projects, innovate collaborative mechanisms between government, enterprises, and academia, and deepen practical cooperation between China and Cameroon in infrastructure and vocational .

🚢Recently, the Chalco-Rio Tinto Terminal at the Maribaya Port in , constructed by CCCC’s subsidiary , completed its commissioning. With this, the port's "dual terminal" setup is now fully in place, and the entire Simandou "mine-railway-port" industrial chain has been successfully connected — opening a hundred-million-tonne gateway for high-grade iron ore shipments to China.
Throughout construction, the project team adopted Chinese standards and technologies, carefully reviewing each critical milestone and establishing a rapid response mechanism to ensure smooth progress. In addition, all 43 key core equipment units were "Made in China," collectively powering the full integration of the Simandou industrial chain.
The project has provided over 6,000 local jobs and delivered more than 48,400 hours of specialized training. At the same time, an "ecological quiet period" was implemented to protect rare migratory birds and mangrove wetlands, and over 300 friendship trees were planted — promoting coordinated development between port construction and ecological conservation.
