Recently, the Zambia MAP Project, undertaken by CNCEC-CC6 commenced the rebar tying works for the reaction tank bottom plates.
The project is located in Lusaka, the capital city of the country, and serves as a key initiative for upgrading the local fertilizer industry. Upon reaching full production capacity, it will have an annual output of 300,000 tons of MAP. The work scope undertaken by CNCEC-CC6 encompasses the construction and installation works for sulphur burning sulphuric acid , phosphoric acid, and MAP units,etc.

On April 26, CNCEC-CC6 Indonesia Branch, together with the Decathlon Foundation, launched a marine conservation micro charity campaign themed "Guard the Blue Sea and Sky" on Pramuka Island, Indonesia.
Volunteers sorted and collected a total of 48.5 kilograms of plastic waste, abandoned fishing gear and household waste. Under the guidance of local professionals, purchased coral juveniles were attached to coral nursery frames and then placed in shallow inshore waters for breeding.
The frames with coral juveniles will later be transplanted to suitable reef habitats by local volunteers. Such activities not only support Indonesia’s Golden Indonesia 2045 Vision, but also help raise awareness among both Chinese and Indonesian employees of the importance of marine ecosystem protection.
CNCEC-CC6 has been active in engineering projects in Indonesia for 13 years, contributing to local energy conservation, carbon reduction, economic growth and employment creation.

Recently, the Seventh Branch of CC6 conducted an occupational disease prevention training at the Cambodia LNG project.
The training featured a combination of publicity and consultation, warning education, and on-site demonstrations to educate both Chinese and Cambodian workers on the prevention and control of common occupational hazards such as dust, noise, and high temperatures. Detailed instructions were provided on the proper use of personal protective equipment and key considerations for occupational health examinations. In addition, targeted emergency rescue drills were carried out, simulating sudden occupational hazard scenarios to strengthen hands-on practice and enhance the emergency response capabilities of all personnel on site.

On April 28, the Cambodia LNG Project Department of the Seventh Branch of China National Chemical Engineering Sixth Construction Co., Ltd. (CNCEC-CC6) volunteers to hand out coolness. As the Cambodia LNG project is currently in the high-rise concreting phase, the Chinese management team takes the initiative to carry barreled mineral water and Cola on their shoulders to the water dispensing points, saving the project staff the trouble of coming and going to fetch water. By giving Chinese and Cambodian workers an easy access to water, this is a caring and thoughtful move for the benefit of the staff’s health.

April 30 sees the commencement of concreting of storage tanks at the Cambodia LNG Project under construction by China National Chemical Engineering Sixth Construction Co., Ltd. (CNCEC-CC6).
This project is a top-priority energy sector project and the first LNG power plant project in Cambodia, located on the northwest shore of Kampong Som Bay in Koh Kong Province. Upon full completion, the project is expected to significantly ramp up Cambodia’s energy supply, meet 20% to 25% of its electricity demand, effectively ease local power shortages and shore up its energy transition and improvements in people’s livelihoods.

On May 6 (local time), the Cambodia LNG Storage Tank Project, undertaken by the Seventh Branch of CNCEC-CC6 completed the concrete pouring for the outer tank dome of the Phase I 200,000 m³ full containment LNG cryogenic storage tank.
This project is a critical part of the 2×450MW Gas Turbine Combined Cycle (GTCC) Power Plant in Koh Kong Province, Cambodia, a key energy cooperation project jointly developed by China and Cambodia under the Belt and Road Initiative. Upon completion, the facility is expected to meet approximately 20% of Cambodia’s electricity demand, playing a vital role in optimizing the local energy structure and promoting economic and social development.
The cryogenic LNG storage tank features a full-containment structure consisting of a prestressed concrete outer tank and a 9% nickel steel inner tank. The concrete pouring for the outer tank dome utilized approximately 1,200 tons of reinforcing bar and 4,000 cubic meters of concrete.

Recently,CNCECCC6 held an Outstanding Employee Award Ceremony for excellent local employees of the KFM Project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
In his speech, award-winning employee YAN shared that during his five years working on the project, CC6 had not only provided him with systematic skills training and comprehensive welfare benefits, but also allowed him to learn many advanced technical concepts and scientific management methods. Recently, a fun sports meet was successfully held at the KFM Project site of CNCEC-CC6 in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
Staff members took part in a series of fun games , including the three-legged race, charades and Werewolf. The organizing team prepared small party poppers to enliven the atmosphere and bring participants a better sense of ritual and engagement. After the activity, all participants quickly cleaned up the popper scraps, tidied up the venue and kept the surrounding environment clean and tidy.
Through these games, employees eased their mood and released work pressure, while further deepening friendship and strengthening team cohesion.

April 23 sees a safety statement signing ceremony held at the KAMOA smelter, which is being built by the Sixth Branch of China National Chemical Engineering Sixth Construction Co., Ltd. (CNCEC-CC6). The high-risk nature of the smelting industry is accentuated at the ceremony. Safety is the lifeline of production, and every employee should internalize safety awareness and translate it into action, all people present agree unanimously. Recently, CNCEC-CC2’s Oil Products Quality Upgrade Project team participated in a sports meeting hosted by the Owner in Zhongda Living Area, with the theme of “Together as One, We Build Dreams and Create Brilliance”. The team members competed with determination and worked in close coordination, showcasing the energetic and enterprising spirit of CNCEC-CC2. The sports meeting was also joined by representatives from China’s Embassy in Kyrgyzstan, Kara-Balta Municipal Government and many Chinese-invested enterprises.
