Roll forming of titanium welded pipes is the core cold bending process in the production of titanium welded pipes. It is suitable for the lightweight and corrosion-resistant material characteristics of titanium alloys and can efficiently produce large-diameter thin-walled titanium welded pipes. It is widely used in chemical, marine engineering and other scenarios.
It belongs to roll type cold bending forming, which requires a series of rolling rolls such as flat rolls and vertical rolls to complete curling, suitable for the lightweight and thin-walled product characteristics of titanium materials.
The forming process involves complex elastic-plastic large deflection bending deformation, accompanied by neutral plane compression and shear effects, making process control difficult.
Due to the characteristics of low work hardening and large rebound of titanium materials, a dedicated roll forming machine with around 10 machine bases is required to complete the forming process.
Adopting a double curved flower core open forming process, the titanium strip is gradually curled into a circle, and the docking gap is uniform and controllable.
International standard: Export products can be adapted to ASTM B337 and ASTM B338 standards, meeting the compliance requirements of overseas industrial scenarios.
