FROM LEARNING TO CREATING!

Today marks the successful completion of Autodesk Revit cohort 12 training with CHİCAD Academy

Over the past 2-months and during the course of their training, our students have been equipped with the knowledge and practical skills needed to bring architectural ideas to life from conception to 3D design and documentation using Autodesk Revit.

But at CHICAD Academy, learning doesn't end in the classroom!
THE NEXT CHAPTER BEGINS: PROJECT WORK!

Our students are now transitioning from guided training to a 1-month independent project development, where they will have the opportunity to apply their skills, challenge their creativity, solve real-world design problems, and transform ideas into practical projects.

CHICAD ACADEMY | ROBOT COHORT 3 DEFENSE

A moment of knowledge, application, and achievement.

Last Saturday, our Robot Cohort 3 students came together for their final project defense, presenting the structural analysis and design of a G+2 building type with the knowledge they developed throughout their training.

The defense provided an opportunity for our trainees to demonstrate their understanding of structural modelling, analysis, design, and the practical application of Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis in real engineering projects.

At CHICAD Academy, we believe that learning goes beyond software commands. Our goal is to equip young engineers with practical digital skills that they can apply confidently in their academic projects and future professional careers.

CHICAD ACADEMY REVIT COHORT 11 DEFENSE
The journey from learning software to developing real architectural projects reaches an important milestone.

CHICAD Academy Cohort 11 students are set to defend and present their architectural projects developed using Autodesk Revit.
After intensive training in Revit Architecture, the students will showcase their ability to transform design concepts into functional architectural solutions through professional digital modeling and documentation.

Among the projects to be presented is:
Architectural Design of a Multi-Storey Healthcare Facility on a 600 m² Urban Footprint in Ntouessong Neighborhood, Yaoundé, Cameroon.

The defense provides an opportunity for the students to demonstrate their understanding of architectural planning, functionality, space organization, design development, and Revit-based project documentation before a panel of professionals.

Right now, our classroom is buzzing with energy, active sessions, and pure determination. At CHICAD, we believe that transforming Africa's infrastructure starts with empowering our local talent.

Last week, our Cohort 11 students in Autodesk Revit competency and Cohort 03 students in ROBOT structural analysis had the opportunity to visit the construction of an educational facility in Messasi Yaoundé, Cameroon.
Through this site visit, they learned how decking slabs are being prepared and installed......
