From Liberia to the World: Victoria Adama Alpha’s Journey of Purpose and Promise
By VOC TV | Spotlight Series

When Victoria Adama Alpha left her home in Liberia, she carried more than just a suitcase, she carried a vision, a scholarship, and the dreams of a generation.

Through a prestigious Liberian government scholarship, Victoria was selected to pursue higher education abroad. Her destination: Côte d’Ivoire, where she enrolled at the renowned Institut National Polytechnique Félix Houphouët-Boigny (INP-HB) in Yamoussoukro. There, she completed her Bachelor’s degree, standing tall as a brilliant mind among Africa’s future leaders.

Never one to settle, she took on further specialization in Road and Transport Engineering at ESTP, where she deepened her understanding of the systems that keep nations moving.

Today, her academic journey continues across continents. Victoria now confirm a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at RIMT University in India a bold leap fueled by dedication, discipline, and a dream to transform infrastructure across the continent.

Victoria’s story is not just about personal success. It is about what happens when a government believes in its youth, and when a community uplifts one of its own. She remains a proud daughter of Liberia, a symbol of excellence within the Champion Liberian Student Community in Côte d’Ivoire, and an inspiration to young African women aiming for global impact.

🟣 From Monrovia to Yamoussoukro. From Yamoussoukro to Punjab. Victoria is not just studying she’s building for Africa.

📍 Victoria Adama Alpha — proudly Liberian, globally driven.

🎙️ Presented by the Management of VOC TV, with heartfelt recognition to the Champion Liberian Student Community in Côte d’Ivoire for their continued support and pride in excellence.

A Moment of Unity and Purpose for Liberian Students in Côte d’Ivoire

As Liberian international students in Côte d’Ivoire, we recently came together in a spirit of dialogue and solidarity to share our experiences, challenges, and aspirations. The presence of our sponsor Agence Française de Développement (AFD), the Project Management Team, and the Director of Non-National Students made this gathering truly impactful.

We felt acknowledged, heard, and supported—an affirmation that our journey is not walked alone. This meaningful exchange strengthened our sense of community and renewed our determination to succeed.

We extend our sincere gratitude to AFD and all stakeholders for their unwavering support, which continues to empower us on our academic and professional paths.

Together, we move forward toward a brighter future.
