The Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series is the first model to be finished with our award-winning PixelPaint technology, now running at the Mercedes-Benz AG plant in Sindelfingen.

PixelPaint applies paint through a print head instead of spraying it. There is no overspray, so every drop lands on the car. No masking, no rework, no paint lost to the air.

That precision is what makes individual finishes like the Monogram Series possible on a production line.

🏁 In racing, the fastest car doesn’t stay competitive by standing still. Neither does a robot.

A robot may still be mechanically productive years after installation, but the technology around it can quickly move on.

Changing production demands, shorter product cycles, cybersecurity, connectivity, new regulations and emerging technologies like AI all put new demands on existing automation.

That’s where modernization comes in.

Rather than replacing valuable assets, a phased modernization approach can help companies extend robot life, reduce operational risk and unlock new capabilities — keeping automation ready for the next challenge.

The goal isn’t simply to have newer technology. It’s to make sure the technology you already have continues to deliver business value.

🏎️ Keep the robots in the race. Keep improving.

By 2030, one in five jobs is expected to undergo significant change as technology and automation capabilities advance*.

And preparing students that future will require more than theory. They need need hands-on training with tech tools that are used at work.

The RobotStudio® for Education license is the student and teacher-friendly version of our popular robotics programming software. With access to the same software used by companies around the world, students can learn, simulate, and apply robotics skills even before entering the workforce.

At no cost to the institution, the license is the perfect tool to bring industry-standard robotics into the classroom.

The future workforce is being trained today, and we're excited to help make those skills more accessible.

Inspiring the next generation of engineers and roboticists 🤖

We are proud to be collaborating with Detroit-based charity SAY Detroit helping bring robotics and automation into the hands of young people who could one day shape the future of our industry.

SAY Detroit does incredible work creating pathways to success for children across the city, providing after-school programs and motivational learning environments that give young people opportunities to learn, experiment and discover new possibilities.

As part of that work, children in SAY Detroit’s makerspace can now get hands-on with a GoFa ™ cobot, learning how to program and operate an intuitive, user-friendly robot while gaining first-hand experience of modern automation.

This is about so much more than technology for us. It’s about access, inspiration and showing young people what’s possible.

And this is just the beginning…

Over the next few months, we’ll be revealing an exclusive world-first project bringing together robotic innovation, sport and the incredible kids at SAY Detroit.

We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on!

Watch this space. 👀🤖
