Magnetic fields can affect the accuracy of mechanical watches, causing them to gain time, lose time or even stop.

This is why demagnetization is recommended after every movement service or cleaning. The tools used by watchmakers can also become magnetized and should therefore be demagnetized regularly.

With the MAGNET-0, the operation is simple and quick: simply place the watch, component or tool in the target area and press the DEMAG button. Within a few seconds, the object is demagnetized.

BERGEON 5896 – "Lyre" Truing Caliper 🔧

This truing caliper is designed for balance wheel inspection during adjustment and servicing operations. Made from sandblasted, chrome-plated brass, it features jewelled pivot protectors that provide precise support for the balance staff while protecting its pivots. Its Ø 0.15 mm holes allow accurate positioning for checking the trueness of the balance wheel and assisting with delicate corrective work.

An iconic tool found in watchmaking workshops, the 5896 reflects BERGEON's commitment to precision, quality, and reliability.

Our entire range of ring sticks is Swiss Made and manufactured in our workshops, guaranteeing quality and precision.

This set brings together the essential tools for fast and reliable work and is highly appreciated by professionals.

Presented in an elegant wooden case, it includes an anodized aluminium ring stick as well as a set of 36 nickel-plated brass ring gauges, designed for extra comfort thanks to the rounded inner shape of the rings.
