Same machine, same joint… yet two completely different philosophies 😄

In this Pro Tip, Carsten explains why ventilation ducts are joined differently depending on the country.

In Germany and many other countries, the joint point is directed inward:
Clean appearance, smooth outer surface and a tidy overall look.

In Switzerland, the joint point is often directed outward:
The inside of the duct remains as even as possible, with fewer contours in the airflow path.

And that’s exactly where small technical details start to matter.
