ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation

Medistri’s laboratory has been ISO/IEC 17025 accredited since 2008, demonstrating technical competence, reliable testing methods, and traceable results across its accredited laboratory activities.

Our planned 2026 scope extension introduces Type C flexibility for GC-FID, GC-MS, UV/VIS spectrometry, and gravimetry. This will enable product-specific analytical methods to be developed, validated, and reported under accreditation without requiring a separate SAS assessment for each method, provided they remain within the approved scope.

Accreditation STS 0504 is maintained by the Swiss Accreditation Service, supporting Medistri’s laboratory activities in Switzerland.

Environmental Conditioning

Environmental Conditioning evaluates how packaging materials and systems respond to defined temperature and humidity conditions. It supports packaging development and validation by identifying potential vulnerabilities before transport simulation and mechanical testing.

Performed according to ASTM D4332, Environmental Conditioning supports distribution testing under ASTM D4169 and broader packaging validation strategies aligned with ISO 11607.

Medistri integrates Environmental Conditioning into its packaging testing services, supporting healthcare manufacturers throughout product development and preparation for market entry.

Certificat d'impact CO₂ de stérilisation

Medistri fournit à ses clients de stérilisation de routine un certificat annuel des émissions de CO₂, offrant une visibilité documentée sur les émissions associées à leurs activités de stérilisation tout au long de l'année de reporting.

Le certificat indique le nombre total de palettes stérilisées, le total des émissions de CO₂ calculées et les émissions moyennes par palette, soutenant le suivi environnemental, le reporting de durabilité et les objectifs internes.

Medistri Welcomes the Swiss Venture Club (SVC) to Medistri

On October 1st, we had the pleasure to welcome members of the SVC in Domdidier. In 2024, Medistri was recognized among the Top 5 SMEs in French-speaking Switzerland by the SVC, and this visit provided an opportunity to reconnect and share how the company has continued to grow and develop since this milestone.

During the visit, we presented Medistri’s 20-year journey and our activities across sterilization, laboratory, manufacturing, and other services supporting the healthcare industry. A guided tour of our facilities gave our guests a closer look at our infrastructure, technologies, processes, and the know-how behind our daily operations.

Sterilization CO₂ Impact Certificate

Medistri provides routine sterilization customers with an annual CO₂ Emissions Certificate, offering documented visibility into the emissions associated with their sterilization activities throughout the reporting year.

The certificate reports total pallets sterilized, total calculated CO₂ emissions, and average emissions per pallet, supporting environmental monitoring, sustainability reporting, and internal objectives.

Across its sterilization infrastructure in Switzerland and Hungary, Medistri combines industrial capacity with greater environmental visibility as production continues to scale.
