Stop Leaving Money Underground
Customers aren’t just working with the OK Champion Cable Scrapper—they’re cashing in on it.

A recent project in Woodstock, Ontario proves the point. In just over three weeks, one customer recovered more than 14 kilometers of underground copper cable—turning abandoned infrastructure into real revenue.

Truckload after truckload of copper was pulled from the ground and sent for processing. What was once a liability quickly became a high-value asset.

This is what happens when performance meets opportunity. The OK Champion Cable Scrapper delivers more than productivity—it’s a revenue generator.

Employee Spotlight: Chris Brown: Business Development – Mobile Mining

What is your role at Timberland Equipment Limited and what does a typical day look like?

I’m currently the Business Development Manager – Mobile Mining, representing our MINEJACK® Underground Utility Vehicle line.

Before this, I spent 8 years in Aftersales supporting customers globally—helping them get the most out of their Timberland Equipment in the field. That experience now shapes how I approach every customer conversation.

What territories do you cover?

International. I have the privilege of introducing MINEJACK® solutions to customers and operations around the world.

What sets MINEJACK® apart from the rest?

Two things stand out:

1. Built to last
MINEJACK® equipment isn’t designed for short-term use—it’s engineered for long-term durability in some of the toughest underground environments.

2. Support for life
When you invest in MINEJACK®, you don’t just get a machine—you get the full strength of the Timberland Group behind it. From service and parts to engineering and training, our team supports the equipment for its entire lifecycle.

That combination is real value in underground mining.

What do you enjoy most about working at Timberland?

It’s the alignment between what we build and what customers truly need.

We work on real-world challenges with real impact—and I get to help connect customers to solutions that make a difference in their operations.

Just as important is the people. Timberland is full of driven, supportive teams that make every interaction better—for us and for our customers.

What motivates you?

Two things:

My family—my wife and two boys are my foundation and motivation every day.

And the mining industry itself. I enjoy turning conversations into trusted relationships and helping bring solutions to life in the field.

Fun fact
Most people see me as quiet—but in the right moment, I’ll sit back, wait for it… and drop a one-liner that usually lands pretty well. Not a job requirement, but it’s made for some good memories.

On February 28, members of the Timberland Equipment Walkers team participated in the Coldest Night of the Year in Ingersoll — joining our community to walk in support of those facing homelessness and housing insecurity.

Together, Abby Belleth-MacLeod, Eric MacLeod, Steve Cripps, Jason Ficht, Isabelle Dykstra, Max Metcalfe, and Sharon Dykstra raised $1,700 in support of Ingersoll Light House.

The Ingersoll Light House is a transitional housing program that provides safe, secure housing and support to individuals working toward stability and independence.

At Timberland, we believe engineering confidence extends beyond the equipment we build — it’s about strengthening the communities where we live and work.

Thank you to everyone who donated and supported this important cause. We’re proud to walk together.

Where Cable Installation Really Begins
Timberland Equipment Limited’s OK Champion rodders are workhorses built to prepare conduit for fiber and telecom cable installation. Proven for decades in demanding sewer maintenance projects across North America, they deliver the control and performance contractors trust to prepare conduit pathways.

Before cable pulling begins, ducts must be cleared, verified and obstruction-free — and that’s where the rodder works.

✅ Clears conduit pathways
✅ Removes debris and obstructions
✅ Installs pull rope or mule tape
✅ Prepares ducts for cable pulling
✅ Reduces downtime and cable installation risk

Once rodding is complete, crews can move directly into cable installation with confidence.
