⚾️ Take me out to the ball game!

Our SMS team and their families enjoyed a summer evening at the Winnipeg Goldeyes game last Friday. It was a close game, and fun to watch the Goldeyes make their push for the playoffs.

It was an exciting night at the ballpark, with fireworks lighting up the sky to wrap up the last weekend of August. 🎆

𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗿 provides safe, accessible and culturally welcoming temporary housing for Red River Métis families travelling to Winnipeg for medical care — helping them stay close to loved ones while accessing treatment.

Developed by the 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗮 𝗠é𝘁𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, the recently completed facility includes 12 residential suites and shared spaces for families to cook, gather, learn, and spend time together.

Working alongside 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 and the project team, SMS Engineering provided mechanical and electrical engineering, energy modelling, and commissioning, with an innovative approach to comfort, indoor air quality, energy performance, and capital cost.
