A house that knows exactly what it is 💚

In the middle of São Paulo — one of the world's densest cities — created a residence that feels like a private sanctuary. Casa da Rua Escócia features Lunawood throughout: on the exterior façade, as interior cladding, on the ceiling, and on the movable screens that shade the windows.

Outside, the wood has weathered into a deep silver-grey, blending quietly into the lush garden that shields the house from the city. Inside, it stays warm and rich. The same material, two very different expressions.

Sustainability is part of everything we do—from sourcing and production to the products we create. In 2025, we made progress in climate action, circularity, responsible sourcing, and production.

In 2025, we achieved:
• 44% reduction in Scope 1 & 2 emissions (vs. 2021)
• 100% renewable electricity in our production
• 100% of our wood suppliers are certified (PEFC and/or FSC)

And we’re not stopping here.
Our goal: carbon neutrality in our own operations by 2035.

✅ We’re happy to share a major step forward in our climate work.

We have reduced our emissions by 44% compared to 2021, exceeding our science-based target (SBTi-validated goal).

This comes from long-term work to improve energy efficiency and increase the use of renewable energy. Since 2025, all Lunawood production has been powered by 100% renewable electricity.

Lower emissions in our production mean a lower carbon footprint for every Lunawood product, without compromising durability or performance.

Work continues towards carbon neutrality by 2035. 🌱
