🪜 Did you know that scaffolding decks are highly engineered tools, not just random planks?
-
🏗️ Here is how size changes the game on BC job sites:The 7-Foot Workhorse: The most common length you see. It perfectly matches standard frame spacing for everyday residential and commercial builds.
-
The 10-Foot Stretch: Designed for efficiency. Longer decks mean fewer vertical towers to set up, saving crews massive amounts of time on long walls.
-
The 19-Inch Rule: Standard decks are 19 inches wide. Laying three of them side-by-side perfectly fills a standard 5-foot scaffold frame to eliminate dangerous gaps.
-
Matching the right length to your span keeps the platform rigid, completely eliminating that sketchy, bouncy “trampoline effect” while working up high.
