What do we look for in a Safety & Damage Review (SDR)?

A proper SDR is more than a quick walk-through - it’s a structured safety review focused on preventing failures and injuries before they happen.

Key things we check:
✔ Frame/upright damage (forklift impacts, bends, twisting)
✔ Beam condition
✔ Safety pins, anchors & base plates
✔ Load ratings & signage
✔ Clearance, frame alignment & stability

Even minor damage can reduce the safety and capacity of your system which often goes unnoticed until it becomes a bigger issue.

Recent local WorkSafeBC enforcement activity has put warehouse safety back in the spotlight. The reality? Most pallet racking issues aren't obvious until someone trained to spot them takes a closer look.

Many businesses assume their racking is fine because it's been standing for years. Unfortunately, that's not always the case.

Still riding the high from the Kamloops Home Show the other weekend 🙌

It was such a great few days connecting with homeowners and businesses. There’s something special about being in a space full of people who genuinely care about what they do and take pride in building, creating, and serving their communities.

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who stopped by to chat, ask questions, and learn more about what we do. Events like this are such a good reminder of the value of face-to-face connection and how strong the local business community really is.
