On behalf of the Baddock family, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who reached out following Bud's passing.

We are incredibly grateful for the condolences, cards, flowers, messages, phone calls, and stories that have been shared over the past few days. The support has been a powerful reminder of the impact Bud had on so many people throughout his life.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our founder, Bud Baddock.

In 1956, Bud and his wife, Rhea, established Ireland Farm Equipment Ltd. in Vermilion with a vision, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to serving the agricultural community. What started as a small family business grew into a dealership that has proudly served generations of farmers and rural families throughout the region.

Over more than 60 years as a business owner, Bud became known not only for his dedication to agriculture but for the relationships he built along the way. To many, he was more than a dealership owner—he was a friend, a mentor, a neighbor, and a familiar face who always had time for a conversation.

Through decades of change, Bud remained committed to the values that helped build this business: honesty, hard work, and treating people right. Those values continue to guide us today.

As we look back through old photos and memories, we're reminded that Bud's legacy is about far more than a business. It's about the people he met, the friendships he built, the customers he served, and the community he helped shape over a lifetime.

Thank you, Bud, for everything. Your legacy will live on at Ireland Farm Equipment and in the countless lives you touched over the years. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Rest easy, Bud. Your roots run deep, and they always will.
