Here is a snapshot from a project that our team has been working on. With a crew of 6-7 workers, Matcom installed a corrugator line for the client. The line was shipped in 40 containers and about 100 pieces before it was all put together. The team worked to offload, place, install, and level the machines.

• It’s the largest manufacturing employer and provides employment for 290,000 Canadians.
• It supplies approximately 70% of all processed food and beverage products available in Canada.
• Canadian processed food and beverage products are exported to 192 countries, the three most major being: United States, China, and Japan.
• In Canada, there are about 7,800 food and beverage processing establishments.

Today is Bell Let’s Talk Day. Take action today, and every day to tackle mental health stigma and help ourselves and those around us to find the support needed. With the mental health crisis continuing to worsen in Canada, it’s important for Canadians to take meaningful action for mental health and create positive change. Some examples of how we can create positive change in our communities include:
- Choose a mental health organization to learn about or support
- Help a friend or family member struggling with their mental health by learning how to support them
- Ask about how your school, workplace or community is creating change for mental health
- Nurture your own well-being by practicing and learning mental health strategies
- Get involved in a mental health initiative or organize an event to support mental health
- Engage in conversations about mental health to fight stigma
Remember to be kind to yourself and others, each day. Check on your loved ones, lead with empathy, and know that your health and wellbeing is just as important as your physical health.
