UBC Solar A student-led design team that's building a solar-powered car at The University of British Columbia.

UBC Solar is an engineering design team that designs, tests, and builds solar powered electric vehicles. Our team is multi-disciplinary student design team that is comprised of undergraduate, and graduate students from Engineering, Science, Business and Arts. We operate on a 2-year design cycle, and focus on in-house design and fabrication. Our objective is to build a solar-powered vehicle and com

pete internationally at Formula Sun Grand Prix 2019. The team has 3 sub-teams: electrical, mechanical, and administrative team. These teams work on smaller projects but requires integration of multiple systems in order to make the vehicle come to life. Anyone with a passion in solar vehicles are welcome to join to gain design, fabrication, and leadership skills.
