💚 Supporting research. Supporting second chances.

We’re proud to support the Organ Donation and Transplant Research Foundation of BC (ODTRF)!

ODTRF helps fund innovative research right here in British Columbia, working to improve organ donation and transplantation and create better outcomes and quality of life for patients. 🔬❤️

At Capital Salvage, giving back to our community is important to us, and we’re excited to help support research that can make a lasting difference.

♻️ Recycle metal. Support our community. Make an impact.

🍂 Happy Thanksgiving from the Capital Salvage crew! 🦃♻️

We’re thankful for our customers, our community, and every load of scrap metal that gets a second life instead of a trip to the landfill.

Need to clear out some copper, aluminum, steel, or other scrap before the turkey hits the table? We’ll be OPEN Thanksgiving Monday, October 12, from 10 AM–4 PM.

Bring your scrap by the yard, say hi to the team, and turn that old metal into something useful again. That’s one thing we can all be thankful for. 💚

Happy Thanksgiving, Vancouver!

Capital Salvage wishes a joyful and meaningful Sukkot to everyone in our community who is celebrating.

Sukkot is a time for gathering, gratitude, reflection, and spending time with family and community. 💚

We’re grateful to be part of such a diverse community here in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Different traditions, cultures, and celebrations help make our community the wonderful place it is.

May your Sukkot be filled with peace, happiness, good company, and meaningful moments with the people you love.

🧡 September 30 — National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Today, the Capital Salvage team wears orange to honour the Survivors of residential schools, the children who never returned home, their families, and Indigenous communities across Canada.

Truth comes before reconciliation.

Today is a time to listen, learn, reflect, and recognize the lasting impact of residential schools. It is also a reminder that reconciliation is not something we think about for only one day — it is work we all share, every day.

As a local Vancouver business, we are proud to be part of this community, and we believe strong communities are built with respect, understanding, and care for one another.

Every Child Matters. 🧡

🥎 From Cloverdale to NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! 🥇

Capital Salvage was proud to sponsor the Cloverdale Fury this season as they chased one BIG goal: make it to the Canadian Championships. Well… they didn’t just make it. They WON IT. 🏆🇨🇦

The Fury travelled to Fredericton, New Brunswick, for Nationals and went an incredible 7–0 - undefeated for the whole tournament!

And there’s even more to celebrate. 🎉 Hailey earned an individual tournament award, while two of her teammates were recognized with awards too.

We spend most days talking about scrap metal, copper, aluminum, and recycling. ♻️ But being a local business also means investing in the people who make our community awesome.

Congratulations to the players, coaches, families, and everyone behind the Fury. Canadian champs has a pretty nice ring to it! 🥇🔥

Capital Salvage is VERY proud to have been along for the ride.
